Crack is powder cocaine cooked in baking soda and water, sometimes ammonia is used to form a chunk, and then broken in tooth size pieces; it is an off white color. The name crack comes from the sound it makes when lit. Crack came about in the early 1970 by American dealers. They found it by chance. They placed cocaine on tin foil then burned it to test its purity. They then discovered sniffing the vapors is an intense high thus the birth of freebasing cocaine. Being cooked in baking soda allows easy transportation, packing and selling of the drug, and of course leads to extreme use and making dealers lots of money. When a person smokes rocks made from cocaine you can smell a disgusting stench. You'll know the smell when you smell it.

The seductive lure of cocaine was introduced to America in the 19th century. As far back as 1551 a Bishop outlawed cocaine for fear it was "an evil agent of the devil". Like crack is OK to sell and smoke. Evil with the sweetness of the most succulent decadent piece of candy your mouth and every taste bud is now craving to just...if I could only...! Crack cocaine is a hard chunk of cocaine after it is cooked with baking soda and water to form a crystal like chunk of candy. It is then smoked in various ways such as a pop can, car antenna, a glass pipe with a chunk of brillo-like pad for scrubbing pans. You stuff a small piece of the brillo-like pad in the end of the device and melt the crack on it, then heat it up some more and inhale the vapors or smoke trapped in the tube or chamber of the glass pipe or other device. The high is instant. God help us avoid being an addict!
